An island art space and green photo spot celebrating the future of couples
Wall Art
Kurima Island is a small and tranquil island.
Sacred sites, farmlands, long-preserved traditions, and everyday island life—
this island holds countless treasures cherished for generations.
In recent years, more people have visited the island for photography and tourism, which has brought joy but also challenges to its culture and environment.
To create a place where both visitors and residents can coexist harmoniously, this project was born with an emphasis on “rules,” “applications,” and “mutual respect.”
This wall art and greenery aim to highlight the island’s natural beauty while sharing a heartfelt message of welcome to all who visit.
Respect for nature.
Respect for local culture.
And warm connections between people.
We hope this art and green space will help protect Kurima Island’s future and pass its beauty on to the next generation.Kurima Island Community Association

Important Notes for Photography
- This location is situated in a residential area. Please refrain from early morning or late-night photography out of respect for local residents.
- Please treat the walls and surrounding plants with care, as they are essential parts of this artwork.
Kurima Island is filled with beautiful scenery that symbolizes love.
The blue ocean, sugarcane fields swaying in the wind, the kindness of the island’s elders, and the warm smiles of its people—all of these leave a deep impression on visitors.
We do not simply aim to create “beautiful photo spots.” We aim to protect the island’s culture while creating experiences that bring joy to both visitors and residents.
Part of the photography application fee is used to support environmental conservation, cleaning activities, and the preservation of local life and traditions.
As more people visit, the island becomes richer in spirit. We hope to continue nurturing this positive cycle together.
